Anchor Housing Trust is a not-for-profit organisation which has traditionally provided care facilities and sheltered housing to the state sector.
Changes in the demographic profile of the UK and government policy led them to look at provising care and/or housing services to the over 50s within the private sector.
Research was undertaken to identify the current and future needs of this sector and to investigate the relevance of hte current Anchor brand to this audience.
A mix of in-depth interviews, focus groups and quantitative surveys were employed.
